The Rwanda international left Police FC as his contract is due to expire on June 30.

Muhadjiri, a former Mukura VS and APR forward, began talks over a move to the Blues days after the 2023/24 topflight league concluded in May after negotiations to stay at Police FC collapsed.

The law enforcers have reportedly offered Muhadjiri a new two-year contract extension with a Rwf15 million signing fee but the Rubavu-born star turned the offer down, claiming that it was below his asking price.

The 30-year-old scored nine goals and provided six assists during the 2023/24 Primus National League season, and he was among key played who contributed Police FC's Hero’s Cup and Peace Cup double, hence securing a qualification for the 2024/25 CAF Confederation Cup.

Rayon have also reportedly signed APR FC and Amavubi defender Fitina Omborenga on a two-year deal worth Rwf 25 million.

Omborenga assisted Jojea Kwizera’s match winner as Rwanda beat Lesotho 1-0 in Durban to retain their top spot in Group C of the ongoing World Cup 2026 Africa qualifiers

The club is also in talks with Burundian player of the season Fred Niyonizeye from Vital’O and Congolese goalkeeper Jackson Lunanga.
