Cobra is one of Rwanda’s successful businessmen. He is the owner and manager of Cadillac, one of the country’s oldest discotheques. It has been operating in the country for the past fifteen years, though started operating in Burundi in 1988. The first thing you do in the morning… Shower. Earliest memory… When I lost my mother at a tender age of four. When were you happiest? In 1994, when I returned to Rwanda. Greatest fear… Betrayal. Favourite word… Traffic jam. Closest you have come to death… At 22 when I was involved in a car accident. From the scale of 1-10, where do you put yourself in terms of achievements? I’m still aiming higher because I haven’t achieved all that I want. Most embarrassing moment… I’ve always been a very busy man....I don’t remember being embarrassed. The most important lesson life has taught you… To be very careful when dealing with people because they are complicated to understand. Who is your female hero? To me, a hero is any mother who strived to give her children good education and manners. Any woman who never lost her culture to the foreign ways of living. What would you carry if you were to spend a weekend on an island? Water would do for me. How do you spend your leisure time? Chilling at home with my family, or visiting friends. The craziest thing you have ever done in life…. Stealing my father’s car to go to a nightclub with my friends. Favourite perfume…. Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent. Favourite clothing style Trendy Jeans with T-shirt. Where did you grow up from? Rwanda, but my family and I had to flee when I was young. Tell a secret? Secrets are not revealed.
