APR FC left-back Christian Ishimwe has turned down an offer from Police FC after failing to meet his asking price. Ishimwe is said to be on his way out of APR FC when his contract expires on June 30, and a host of top clubs are chasing his services. Times Sport understands that Police FC are looking for a replacement for Ugandan left-back Derrick Ndahiro who went AWOL in March and never returned, and Ishimwe is Mashami's top transfer target. However, the former AS Kigali defender has rejected the club's first offer as negotiations continue.
