TOP STORY: Rwf100 bank note to cease being a legal tender

The Rwf100 bank note was issued by the BNR in 2003 The National Bank of Rwanda (BNR) has announced that the Rwf100 note will cease to be legal tender starting December 31, 2009. The central bank has also called upon the pubic to exchange them with any other legally accepted notes and coins. The announcement means that the Rwf100 bank notes will no longer be accepted in payment or settlement of debts after the said date.
