Once upon a time there was a girl named Micha. Micha like all of us loved her presents so much. Her father always showered her with presents. One day her father gave her a beautiful golden box. She started opening it in a hurry hoping it was a doll. When she opened the box, it was empty. She couldn’t believe it! She quickly runs to her father to ask him where the present was. “Daddy where is my present, the box is empty, where is my doll that I asked you for?” Micha asks breathless. Micha’s father looked up at her and smiled. “Oh, Micha, it’s not empty at all. I blew kisses into the box. They’re all for you,” he said. “But why daddy, you don’t have to give me kisses in a box. You are always here!” Micha said. Her father looked at her and smiled once more. “I might not always be here. I want you to keep the box by your bed, whenever you feel unhappy or afraid, take out an imaginary kiss and remember how much I love you,” he said. There and then, Micha was really excited about the gift because she knew it was a special one. Now her daddy would be close all the time. Just like Micha, we have all been given a golden box filled with unconditional love and kisses, from our parents, grandparents and friends. This is the most precious possession anyone could ever have. We should appreciate this unconditional love we get and in turn love others in our lives. This we can only do if we always know that we are loved unconditionally. Ends
