Gorilla FC have concluded successful negotiations to sign Olympic Star skipper Kevin Uwimana when the transfer window opens on July 1. Times Sport can confirm that the budding centre back is leaving the Burundian outfit on a free transfer but the club will be entitled to a future transfer percentage. Elsewhere, AS Kigali are back for Sunrise FC centre back Frank Onyeabor who could be tempted to move elsewhere after his side was relegated bac the second division. Onyeabor was a transfer target of both APR and AS Kigali in the January transfer window but the deal fell through and he stayed at Sunrise. He still has one more year on his Sunrise FC contract but AS Kigali is reportedly ready trigger it to secure his services. Nigerian striker Gabriel Godspower, who scored seven goals for Etoile in the second round of the 2023/24 season, will likely move to Bugesera FC as a replacement for fellow countryman Elijah Ani who reached an agreement to join Police FC.
