Bugesera FC forward Elijah Ani is on his way to Police FC after the parties involved came to a consensus on Tuesday. Times Sport understands that talks between Bugesera FC, Police FC and Ani’s representatives have come to a fruitful end and the security service club is ready to buy his contract which expires on June 30, 2025. Ani was superb in his debut season with Bugesera FC scoring 15 goals in 27 games. He shared the top scorer accolade with fellow Nigerian Victor Mbaoma, who plays for APR FC. ALSO READ: Ani confirms talks with Rwanda FA over playing for Amavubi Aside from Police FC, Rayon Sports were also interested in the striker before the Peace Cup winners broke the bank to sign him. Police FC are rebuilding for the coming 2024/25 season during which the club will represent Rwanda at the CAF Confederation Cup. The club has already released as many as 10 players and is potentially expected to add more signings during the June-July transfer window. Times Sport has contacted Ani about his move transfer.
