For all the lovebirds in Kigali, Valentine’s Day sees the release of a long-awaited album from a talented young local at Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village (formerly Camp Kigali). “Love you more’ — Yverry’s debut studio album, is comprised of 11 love songs, which include, Uragiye, Nkuko njya mbirota, Mbona dukundana, Nduwawe, Amabanga, Uzambabarire, Umutima, Naremewe wowe, Ibara, and Uziye igihe. It also features three new singles. The singer, born Yves Rugamba, said he is giving the concert a pure love theme and from the look of things, he is super excited about the project. “The reason I chose to launch my album on Valentine’s Day is because I sing about love. So, there couldn’t be a better day for me, and for people in love.” He added: “I invite everyone; my fans, music lovers. I love them that’s why I am having the concert. For lovers, it is a very good evening plot for them. For those who are not in love should at least come and enjoy the music.” Yverry, a graduate from Nyundo School of Art, is considered among the fast-rising artistes in Rwanda. He will be backed up by King James, Bruce Melody, Andy Bumuntu, Ibrahim Cyusa, Queen Cha and Social Mulla.
