Jeannine Munyeshuli has been dismissed from her position of Minister of State for Public Investment and Resource Mobilization in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MINECOFIN). A communique from the Prime Minister’s Office on Monday, June 3, shared the information without divulging details. Munyeshuli was appointed minister in August last year. She held various portfolios in the private sector previously. Among others, she served as the Chief Operating Officer at SouthBridge Group, a financial services institution. She also worked as a Quantitative Analyst and Investment Manager at Unigestion in Switzerland, and as a Quantitative Strategist at Pictet Group in Geneva, Switzerland.
