The local volleyball governing body (FRVB) has confirmed that Rwanda will take part in the upcoming qualifiers tournaments for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. The men’s tournament is due January 3-7 in Eritrea, while the women’s qualifiers will be held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania from January 9 to 13. Speaking to this publication on Wednesday, FRVB Executive Secretary Christian Hatumimana said that more details – including training schedule for the teams – were yet to be determined. The 32nd edition of the Olympic Games is scheduled for July 24 through August 9, 2020 in Tokyo, Japan. Probable squads: Women Valentine Munezero and Claudine Musanabageni Charlotte Nzayisenga and Judith Hakizimana Men Olivier Ntagengwa and Patrick Kavalo Akumuntu Fils Harindintwari and Venuste Gatsinzi.
