Construction works of the 80MW Regional Rusumo Falls Hydroelectric Project (RRFHP) are at 59 percent according to Energy Ministers from Rwanda, Tanzania and Burundi who visited the site last week.

The ministers and project officials tour houses for people who will work at the power plant. The accommodations are in Tanzania, five kilometres from the Rusumo border. This is also where a temporary camp for the current project's workforce is located.
