Dear editor, I want to tell anyone, who is still wondering why the prohibited local liquor, popularly known as Kanyanga, has taken ages to get off the streets. Well there are so many reasons behind this but the main one is that those who are supposed to fight its consumption are the same people who enjoy it. The illicit spirit is actually enjoyed by many people; and because there is demand, there will always be supply. And there is nothing the authorities can do about it. So, unless the local population comes out and fights against the consumption of Kanyanga, all effors will remain futile. Kayonza
