Social Mula will, on November 23, launch his debut album ‘Ma vie’, the first since 2013 when he launched his career. The event will take place at Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village. The album is made up of 14 songs and is named after Social Mula’s famous song ‘Ma Vie’ (French for ‘my Life’). The album contains his hit songs such as ‘Isegonda’, ‘Hansange’, ‘Kundunduro’, ‘Ndiho’, ‘Humura’, ‘Ma Vie’, ‘Abanyakigali’ and ‘Warakoze’, among others. In an interview with Saturday Times, Social Mula explained the reason behind the album name ‘Ma Vie’. “I wanted to show that I have come to a point where music is my life and I can’t live without it,” he said. Several local artistes are lined up to perform at the album launch. They include King James, Marina, Bruce Melody, Yvan Buravan, Yverry and many more. France-based Burundian vocalist Big Fizzo, who featured in the song ‘Hansange’ that gained Social Mula fame will also grace the launch. “I hope to release my new song Yayobye, that is also part of the album before the launch. Revelers should expect live and exciting performances from me and other artistes,” Social Mula said.
