Thursday, October 13 Kiyovu vs Bugesera Sunrise vs Mukura Rwamagana vs Gasogi United Striker Bienvenu Mugenzi believes that there is a lot more to come from SC Kiyovu following their 2-1 victory against Rayon Sports. They clinched the Made in Rwanda trophy on Sunday, October 9, and they will host Bugesera FC on the fifth day of Rwanda Premier League at Kigali stadium, on Thursday, October 13, looking for nothing but a win. Following their recent triumph, Mugenzi made it clear that “our upcoming league fixture against Bugesera at Kigali Stadium will be a challenge,” but one which the team will take on intent on making a statement. “I think the biggest thing in terms of player development, individually and collectively, is that we want to stay in the title race as long as we can have more games ahead of us,” Mugenzi stressed. “We have to try and do our very very best and win against Bugesera. This season will inevitably throw up a lot of twists and turns and there will be setbacks along the way. We saw that when we were losing some games,” he added. Bugesera is in a good mood after beating defending champions APR, 2-1, on October 7 at Bugesera Stadium. We push ourselves as hard as possible, individually and collectively, and we have got good focus. Games like the one against Rayon Sports are brilliant evenings for us and a great challenge to see how we can perform against that type of opposition,” the former APR and Marines forward noted. Elsewhere, Sunrise will play against Mukura at Nyagatare Stadium while Rwamagana will host Gasogi United. Kiyovu sits in third place with nine points, three behind leaders Rayon Sports. Last season, Kiyovu finished the league in second place, one point behind APR who won the league with 66 points.
