Tuesday Bugesera Vs APR (Nyamata Stadium, 3:00) AS Kigali Vs Rayon Sports (Kigali Stadium, 18:00) Rayon Sports coach Janvier Martinez Espinosa has backed his team to bounce back from Saturday’s goalless draw against Gasogi United during match day 2 today. The champions take on an AS Kigali side that defeated them recently in the Super Cup, a curtain raiser for the league which pits the league champions against the Peace Cup winners. Espinosa will need a win against AS Kigali on Tuesday in the second game of the league in order to avoid being put under pressure by the Bues’ fans who expect the club to start on a bright note and go on to retain their league title. “Although we were held to a draw by Gasogi, there are some positives to take from the game. The match against AS Kigali will be tough but I have confidence in my team, we will get a win,” Espinosa said. AS Kigali, who are among the favourities to win the league this season, held giants APR to a 1-1 draw on Saturday. Elsewhere, Bugesera will host APR at Nyamata Stadium. Bugesera started their league campaign in good form defeating Heroes FC 2-0. Jimmy Mbaraga scored both goals. editor@newtimesrwanda.coM
