Vladimir Bosnjak has agreed to remain as head coach of the national basketball team for another year. The development was confirmed to this publication on Monday by Desire Mugwiza, president of the Rwanda Basketball Federation. The Serbian tactician who was first offered a one-year deal in August 2018, has been tasked – among other targets – to guide Rwanda to the FIBA Africa Zone V Championships next year. “It is true that Vladimir’s contract has been renewed by one year, and we are happy to keep him as our (national) team coach. He proved to be a good coach and basketball mentor to our players,” said Mugwiza. He further revealed as Bosnjak will also double as head coach of the women national team. editor@newtimesrwanda.com
