Canada-based Rwandan gospel artiste Gentil Misigaro, has said that his Biratungana Tour has yielded positive results, noting that it’s not far from what he had prayed for. Biratungana Tour is a collection of different concerts taking place on four different continents including, Australia, America, Europe, and Africa. The tour comes after Misigaro staged his first performance in Rwanda, in March this year. “The tour is great, and I’m enjoying the warm reception from Christian music fans. I also like how the congregation gets deeper in worship during the performance, and the attendance is awesome,” Misigaro told The New Times. Dallas, Brussels, and Holland among others tasted the tour, and France’s Lille is next on Sunday, 15. Misigaro said Biratungana Tour is also an opportunity for upcoming gospel artists to show their talents. “During the tour, we make sure that in every country we give a platform to at least two upcoming artistes to showcase their talent. This is to help them improve because most of the times they are not given that opportunity, despite being talented,” he said. The “Biratungana” star added that the tour has helped Rwandans and other Africans to worship God in their mother languages. He is also expected to perform in Tanzania on November 15, before taking his tour to Johannesburg, South Africa. Misigaro is a gospel songwriter, producer, music trainer, known for hit songs like, “Hano ku Isi”, “Buri Munsi”, “Biratungana”, “Tuzanezerwa”, and “Hari imbaraga” among others. editorial@newtimesrwanda.com
