Rwanda claimed the biggest result following a nail biting 26-25 victory over Uganda. François Xavier Ngarambe’s boys recovered from the first half deficit when Uganda was leading 13-11 before turning the score around by winning a full time game with a hardworking defense. Following this triumph, Rwanda will represent Africa Zone to the 2024 IHF Trophy Continental Phase Africa. In the U18, the top scorer award was given to Dieudonné Habumukisha known as Rwabugiri, who scored 29 goals, the highest in the U18 tournament.
