Prime Minister Edouard Ngirente met with his Guinean counterpart Amadou Oury Bah, on May 17, to discuss strengthening the existing bilateral relations between Rwanda and Guinea.This was during Bah's visit to Rwanda for the 2024 Africa CEO Forum. Bah noted: “The visit to my Rwandan counterpart allowed us to discuss cooperation between our countries. We had the opportunity to deepen the existing bilateral relations.”ALSO READ: Kagame, Guinea president hold tête-à-tête talksHe expressed his admiration for Rwanda, highlighting the country's resilience and achievements in economic development and stability arguing that it is an encouraging lesson for his country.Ildephonse Musafiri, the Minister of Agriculture who was at the meeting, noted that the discussions between the two prime ministers focused on enhancing cooperation.The exchange of cooperation follows the official visit of our Heads of State. Last week, President Paul Kagame visited Guinea, and a few months ago, the President of Guinea visited Rwanda. The Prime Ministers are working to implement the vision of our leaders and they agreed to accelerate cooperation in agriculture, tax collection, education, and other areas, Musafiri said.The two countries' ministers of agriculture and trade also met to expedite cooperation in their respective sectors. The Prime Ministers agreed to follow up on the implementation and execution of the cooperation frameworks.
