Azam Rwanda Premier League side Mukura have appointed Cameroonian Olivier Ovambe as their new head coach on two-year contract – until the end of 2020/21 season. The two sides completed the deal Friday afternoon in Huye District. Ovambe joins the 2018 Peace Cup winners after guiding Rayon Sports to quarter-finals of the recently concluded Cecafa Kagame Cup, as interim coach. At Mukura, he replaces Burundian Francis Haringingo who was unveilied as new head coach at league rivals Police on Wednesday. Besides the new manager, the Huye-based side have also signed four new players; Evode Ntwari (from APR), Ramadhan Ndayisenga (from Marines), Ramadhan Niyonkuru (from Musanze) and former Police skipper Patrick Umwungeri, all on a two-year contract.
