Rwanda Premier League chairman Hadji Yusuf Mudaheranwa has assured that 2024/25 season will be even more competitive than the just-concluded league campaign. APR FC were Sunday, May 12, crowned champions of Rwanda again, after clinching their fifth straight league title, and their second on an unbeaten record. While some see the army side’s dominance as an ‘obvious’ monopoly, Mudaheranwa insisted that they will see more competitive league next season. ALSO READ: APR FC crowned 2023/24 Primus National League champions We presented a much more dynamic competition among the clubs, more competition during the relegation and beautiful football than last season so we believe that even for the title race will be the same next season, Mudaheranwa said. We look forward to putting together a much more competitive this season. Mudaheranwa said his office is negotiating more sponsorships which can help them mobilize funds to financially support teams. The last six games have not been easy for every team. We are expecting the more sponsors so that our team can money from their participations which will help them to build strong teams,” the Gorilla FC proprietor said.
