Sunday Game 2 UTB Vs RRA 6pm (Amahoro Indoor Stadium) University of Tourism, Technology and Business Studies UTB volleyball women team, will be hoping to make history on Sunday when they take on defending champion, Rwanda Revenue Authority in game 2 of the 2019 play-off games finals. Sylvestre Mbanza’s UTB beat defending champions RRA in 3-1 sets (25-17, 25-17, 18-25 and 25-17) in game 1 on Wednesday night. And they only need Game 2 victory in the best-of-three finals to lift the title. Mbanza said his team has what it takes to beat RRA and win the trophy. “We have a good squad and we have got the points in game one and this is good motivation for the team ” said Mbanza. In separate interview, RRA volleyball club coach Marie Chantal Kabila, said she is working with the team to correct errors that made them lose the first game. “Game 2 is a must-win for us because if we lose this one we will be out of the title,” she said. If UTB wins game 2, they will automatically become the national volleyball women league champions but if RRA wins the second game, both sides will go for a third decisive game. editor@newtimesrwanda.com
