Thousand Hills rugby club has become the first team to book a ticket to the last four of this year’s national rugby championship. The Gatenga-based rugby side confirmed their semis spot after beating Lion de Fer 20-13 over the weekend at Croix Rouge grounds in Kacyiru, and now await to know who they will meet for a berth in the title deciding match. As the Central Division leaders, the Hills will be up against the side that will finish second in the Southern Division. With one match round left in the zonal stage, last year’s beaten finalists Resilience Rugby Club top the Southern Division table, and are followed by Muhanga Thunders. editor@newtimesrwanda.com
