The Confederation of African Football (Caf) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the English Football Association aimed at strengthening cooperation on Tuesday. Under the Understanding, Caf liaised with the English FA to promote football development, by organising seminars and coaching clinics in at least, two countries per year for the next five years. The signing of a Memorandum will just be an overdue formalisation of all the good work that the FA has been doing in Africa over the last few years. Many African football federations have had relations with the English FA over the years and have done extensive work in Malawi, Lesotho, Botswana and South Africa. Ends
