The in-form pair of Olivier Ntagengwa and Patrick Kavalo Akumuntu faces Morocco in title decider on Saturday. Ntagengwa and Kavalo put up a never-die performance for a final berth, at the expense of their Sierra Leone opponents, after going down 21-19 in the first set before bouncing back to take the next two sets 21-13 and 15-13. However, their compatriots Charlotte Nzayisenga and Benitha Mukandayisenga lost their semis encounter to Mauritius, and are due to take on the hosts Nigeria in the third place playoff.
