It has been revealed that Rwanda’s professional hopeful Omar Hitimana turned up for his trials in Vietnam late. The former U-23 national team skipper was expected to undergo trials with premier league clubs TNT and El Phat respectively however he couldn’t secure the trials as he reached Vietnam after the national league transfer window had come to a close, days back. Kampala’s player transfer guru Mugib Kasule who also doubles as Hitimana’s agent told Times Sport on phone from Kampala that Hitimana was late for the trials and will be going back after their season closes in April. “He was late and I decided to call him back to pursue his career with KCC because the club is participating in the Caf Champions league and this would be a boost for him,” Kasule said. “He is expected to spend a month with the Vietnam Premier league club and their league started on February 6,” Kasule said. Hitimana had left Uganda’s Super league club KCC for trials in Vietnam and Fifa licensed players’ agent Mugib Kasule had secured his way out. Meanwhile, the return of Hitimana is a boost to KCC before they take on Mozambique side Ferroviaro de Maputa in the second leg of the MTN Champions League this weekend. Ends
