Producer Moise Irasubiza, popularly known as Prince Kiiiz, has left Country Records to open his own studio, The New Times has learnt. The producer joined Country Records in March 2023, alongside Real Beat and Pakkage, to replace producer Element. Also read: Who are the new producers signed under Country Records? Kiiiz's leaves Country Records amid rumors floating on social media that he had joined 1:55am, which is home to some of Rwanda's top music stars like Bruce Melodie, Kenny Sol and his rival producer 'Eleeh'. However, The New Times understands that the young producer, who is also an instrumentalist, hasn't inked any deal with 1:55am as rumored, but rather plans to open his own studio, which might open operations soon. Kiiiz also took to social media to tell his fans that he is no longer part of the Country Records team and that he is looking forward to the new journey. Kiiiz departure from Country Records is bad news for studio owner Noopja, who has been struggling to get back on track since producer Element left his recording studio. Country Records is left with only Kozze as its lead producer, who is competing with some of Rwanda's biggest beat makers and producers. During his one-year contract with Country Records, Kiiiz has produced hits such as Bruce Melodie's 'Funga Macho' and its remix featuring Shaggy, Bwiza's Do Me, Juno Kizigenza's Zezenge and Chris Eazy's Lala among others.
