Roberto Oliveira’s team go into the game in second place with 40 points, two behind APR, and a win will see them snatch the top spot for the first time this season. “We know we are going to face a team that are fighting for their lives in the league, so we must challenge ourselves to do well. I have told the players to continue working hard if we are to remain in contention for the title,” the Brazilian coach said. Gicumbi sit 14th on the league table with 16 points. Their coach, Camalade Banamwana, reckons the Rayon game will be tough. “We are hosting a big team and there is no doubt it is going to be a tough game for us. It is important that we win to stay on course to achieving our target of staying in the topflight league,” he said. In the day’s other match, Sunrise will be playing against Bugesera at Nyagatare grounds.
