The victory ensured Marcel Lomami’s side stayed at the summit of Pool A with 29 points, one ahead of Vision FC who beat Aspor 2-0 – same venue. Youngster Nkubana opened the scoring for Gasogi after 28 points, and it took him only 12 minutes to double his side’s lead. Both sides went for half-time break with Gasogi leading 2-0.
