Tributes pour in for German fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld

Reaction to the news of Karl Lagerfeld’s death at the age of 85, has prompted an outpouring of tributes. Lagerfeld, who passed away yesterday, was a German creative director, fashion designer, artist, photographer and caricaturist who lived in Paris. Instantly recognisable in his dark suits, pony-tailed white hair and sunglasses, Lagerfeld was best known for his association with Chanel but delivered collections for LVMH’s Fendi and his own eponymous label.
