Monday, Feb. 4 Mukura Vs Etincelles 15:30 Thursday, Feb. 7 Gicumbi Vs Mukura 15:30 Mukura Victory Sports coach Francis Harinngingo has said that despite his side’s goalless draw against Musanze FC on Wednesday, he expects a better performance in the coming matches. The Huye-based side, who are in third place with 30 points – from 13 matches, host Etincelles at Huye Stadium on Monday, and victory will see them dislodge Rayon Sports into second position. The latter have 31 points from 15 games. “We need to correct the mistakes we made [against Musanze] before our next match. I am not happy with Wednesday’s performance,” Haringingo told Saturday Sport on Friday. Haringingo’s side will be without suspended left-back Janvier Mutijima when they host Etincelles, a match that will be followed by their match-day 15 encounter against strugglers Gicumbi on Thursday. “I know my men have quality and talent, but without winning attitude and fighting spirit there is nothing much you can achieve in football. We need to fight and collect maximum points against such lowly teams, that’s how the title is determined,” he further noted. “We have to learn how to play more smartly and score goals,” the Burundian tactician told his players. editorial@newtimes.co.rw
