Sunday UR 54-100 APR APR basketball club thrashed University of Rwanda’s College of Arts and Social Sciences (UR-CASS) 100-54 to move into third place in the Bank of Kigali National Basketball League. Following Sunday’s fixture APR have 10 points, two behind leaders Patriots and one behind second-placed Rwanda Energy Group Basketball Club. After the game, APR coach Karim Nkusi said the target is to remain in top three so as to be able to take part in the playoffs. “We are happy to be in top three and our target is to remain there until the end of the season,” the former APR and national team player said Former Espoir star Pascal Niyonkuru posted a game-high 31 points while Bienvenu Niyonsaba and Eric Munyaneza contributed 15 and 13 points in that order.
