The national volleyball league side REG head coach, Benon Mugisha Bavuga, has urged his players to maintain their winning form following their 3-1 win against UTB in the national volleyball league on Saturday. REG is in second place with 17 points after overcoming Fidele Nyirimana’s side while Gisagara lead the league table with 18 points. “I encourage my players to remain consistent and try to get as many points on board as possible. We know what we want this season because we don’t want to finish second like last season, we want to win the league,” said Mugisha. “We are in a good position to make it to the finals of the playoffs, what we have to do now is keep the same spirit and be focused on the next game ,” he noted. After the home and away matches in the league, top four teams face off in robin round matches to determine the winner of the league. REG hitherto won six matches and lost one, against rivals Gisagara.
