Last week, the Rwanda National Examination Council, released Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) and ordinary level examination results for 2008. Just before children sat for their exams, many told The Children’s Times that they were ready to pass with flying colours and indeed that is what happened. It is amazing that 78.69 percent of O-level students passed. According to exam officials this is the best performance ever. The best student in the O’level exams was Eric Manzi Rugamba from Green Hills Academy while Sauda Niyigena from ENDP Karubanda emerged second best. The third was Joan Uwase Kalimba from FAWE girls’ school. Students from other schools too, passed with high grades. Ends
