President Paul Kagame on Sunday took part in the bi-monthly city-wide fitness day, dubbed ‘car-free day’, where he said that the activity should go beyond just physical exercise. Addressing hundreds who participated in the morning exercise at Rwanda Revenue Authority grounds, the President urged them to uphold this culture to not only build themselves, but also the country. For the exercise, he was joined by several senior government officials, including the Minister for Sports and Culture, Espérance Nyirasafari (right) and her Health counterpart, Dr Diane Gashumba (left), among others.
