IPRC Musanze and the University of Tourism, Technology and Business Studies (UTB) volleyball clubs are set to be approved as new members of the national volleyball league during the body’s general assembly today. According to the Christian Hatumimana, Executive Secretary of the volleyball governing body, the two newly created teams wrote to the federation asking to join the league and their requests will be discussed and a resolution taken by the general assembly today. “IPRC Musanze and UTB women volleyball will be approved in general assembly on Sunday. Other important points on the agenda include the election of a new board of the general assembly and setting action plan for next season as well as evaluation of last season,” said Hatumimana. IPRC Musanze will become the eighth club in second division league while UTB will become the eighth member of the national women volleyball championship. editorial@newtimes.co.rw
