Rehoboth Ministries will perform their annual concert, dubbed ‘Praise and worship explosion’ at Bethesda Holy Church in Gisozi, on October 7. The concert, scheduled to start at 3p.m, will also feature performances from Alarm Ministries, Healing worship Team and Sauti Hewani choir, among other performers. Patrick Munini, president of Rehoboth Ministries, is promising a superb concert, and urges gospel music lovers to attend in large numbers. “People should expect great music and dance performances from the artistes and choirs we have invited for the concert,” said Munini, adding that: “It’s going to be an awesome evening for everyone who will attend.” As part of the ensemble’s concert tradition, Pastor Salomon Kanyeshyamba, from Wells Salvation Church, will preach to the congregation. Rehoboth Ministries was established in 1994 but came into the limelight in 2010 after the launch of their famous ‘Uwigitangaza’ album. Some of the choir’s popular songs include, ‘Icyo yavuze’, ‘Kugitare’, ‘Gologota’, ‘Uri mwiza’, ‘Urera Mana’, and ‘Wewe ni Mungu’. editorial@newtimes.co.rw
