For the past few years, he has experienced prison life more than any other artiste in Rwanda. Just recently, the singer was also found abusing drugs and was taken to Gikondo Transit Centre, where he spent at least 20 days. Now, our sources say the rapper has been taken to rehab. Fireman will be spending sometime at Iwawa Rehabitation Centre. ******************** Beyonce’s former drummer goes to court, claims singer uses extreme witchcraft A lady who used to work as a drummer for US singer, Beyonce Knowles, has claimed the star reached to the top using black magic. Kimberly Thompson explained to a court she used to work for the singer in her band for seven years and that she would like a restraining order. According to court documents, the drummer claimed Beyoncé used her spells to monitor her by tapping her phone as well as to control her finances. Kimberly further explained the singer harasses her with “extreme witchcraft, dark magic” and “magic spells of sexual molestation”. The drummer also alleged Beyoncé was responsible for murdering her kitten, but did not reveal why she believes the singer was responsible for the problems the petitioner claimed to be facing. Interestingly, her request for a restraining order was denied by the judge, most likely because of the nonsensical rantings about witchcraft. Kimberly is reported to have performed with Beyoncé as part of an all-female band with her behind the drums. She has also released several albums on her own record label and has played with The 8G Band on Late Night with Seth Meyers. In earlier reports, Beyonce’s Nigerian dancer explained how the dance team saved the singer from an attack by an erratic fan on stage. According to, Diddi Emah, a strange man in a white shirt walked on the stage and chased off Beyoncé and Jay-Z. It was not clear what his intention was or whether he was armed, but the dance crew all risked their lives to save their bosses by also chasing away the intruder. ******************** Koffi Olomide to face court for assaulting photojournalist A courtin Zambia ordered the arrest of rhumba star Koffi Olomide, who is from Democratic Republic of Congo, for allegedly assaulting a photographer six years ago. Olomide was due to appear in court last Friday but did not show up, after which magistrate Mwandu Sakala issued a warrant for his arrest. The rhumba maestro had been requested to appear in court before he left at the end of a series of shows in the country but departed Zambia without presenting himself to a judge. Olomide’s promoter in Zambia Mark Mumbalama requested that the court give Olomide more time to appear because of difficulties delivering the summons. The Congolese star allegedly assaulted Rwandan photojournalist Jean Nepomuscene Ndayisenga during a gig at the luxury Pamodzi hotel in Lusaka on December 28, 2012. Ndayisenga accuses Olomide of kicking him in the face, after which he feel. The middle finger of his left hand was said to be broken, including the lens of his camera.
