Friendly matches Saturday Kiyovu Vs Pepiniere (Mumena Stadium, 15:30) Friday Police 1-4 Gasogi Topflight league side SC Kiyovu take on Pepiniere this afternoon at Mumena Stadium in a build-up game ahead of the 2018/2019 Azam Rwanda Premier League campaign kick-off. The friendly match is also an opportunity for Pepiniere to enhance their preparations ahead of the play-offs for a slot in Azam Rwanda Premier League next season. Strugglers Pepiniere, who were relegated from the top-tier football league last season, are among four teams set to compete compete to replace Intare FC in the league. The latter withdrew from the first division league despite earning promotion from the lower division in July. The four will vie for the sole available spot against. The other three are Gicumbi, Miroplast and Sorwathe. Pepiniere are expected to use the game to assess the players who will feature in the playoffs. In July, Intare alongside AS Muhanga, reached the final of the national second division league to seal promotion to the top flight league.
