Dear Editor, I would like to congratulate the new president of the United States of America and Americans in general upon yesterday’s 44th Presidential Inauguration Ceremony. In Obama’s speech, I sensed a lot of peace and reconciliation tones when he clearly said that all big nations and small villages like that one in which his father was born are friends of America. Despite how many lives have been affected by the strong arm of the American nation, Obama’s inaugural address gives us a fresh hope. The new president has an ambitious recovery plan concerning the financial crisis that the country faces, I am very optimistic that it will work after judging from the enthusiasm that he has started with. On his first day in office, Obama met economists to map out strategies of dealing with the financial crisis. As a Rwandan, this interests me because my country is still growing and the last thing we need is to be affected by the current economic crunch. Kigali
