Artefact as Art The ‘Artefact as Art’ project addresses the creation of contemporary heritage in the post-colonial context, integrating present-day artistic practice in public spaces with the examination of ethnographic history. Hosted by Kurema, Kureba, Kwiga the ‘Artefact as Art’ exhibition will be opening today from 5pm to 9pm at Kandt House Museum of Natural History, Kigali. Ubuntu Soul Session Afrogroov and Shavu & Wu bring you live music with Ubuntu Soul Session. Ubuntu Soul Session is about interconnectedness and the aim is to inject humanity and purpose in the way we build our social life, design events and create innovative cultural experiences. For this Ubuntu Soul Session, there will be a plethora of diaspora talents, local, regional and international artistes in various fields of performances who will showcase their art, vision of unity and connectedness through sonic storytelling with musicians, DJ’s and rappers all under the same roof. Special guests include Nganji Arnaud (Rwanda) & DJ Wild Lion (Germany). It’s happening today from 8pm to 3am at White Horse, Kigali. Movies Have fun with family and friends as you watch the latest movies, Equalizer 2, and Hotel Transylvania 3, showing this weekend at Century Cinema, Kigali located at Kigali City Tower.
