Last week, the Rwandan Office for Tourism and National Parks (ORTPN) celebrated the New Year with orphans in Kicukiro district. After sharing a good meal, the organisation also donated Rwf 2 million to the different orphanages so that the money can be used to meet the the daily needs of the children. The president of the Association of Orphan Heads of Households (AOCM), Rogers Rwamasirabo thanked ORTPN for the support and promised that the association will manage the funds properly to meet the children’s needs. We all know ORTPN for its great achievements in the Rwanda’s tourism sector especially when it comes to naming and protecting gorillas. Once again, the organisation remembered to give back to vulnerable children in the society. Ends
