Rayon Sports welcome struggling Etincelles to Kigali Pele Stadium on Thursday, April 4, at 3:00 pm in a Primus National League week 26 encounter. Julien Mette’s side seems to have given up on the title at the expense of runaway league leaders APR FC but they are looking to win their remaining games to at least finish in second place at the end of the campaign. This is going to be the 15th encounter between the two teams since 2015 with Rayon Sports having the upper hand with six wins against two for Etincelles while seven games ended in a draw. Rayon sit second with 48 points while Etincelles are 13th with 26 points which are not enough to avoid relegation. The star midfielder could potentially return to action on Thursday which at the same time a huge boost for Mette and a big blow for the visitors. Forward Prince Rudasingwa, who recently recovered from head concussion, is likely to lead the attack while Arsene Tuyisenge and Hadji Iraguha may maintain their position on the wings. For Etincelles, coach Rajab Bizumuremyi will count on the likes of Sadjat Niyonkuru, and Ciiza Hussein to get the needed results. On paper, Rayon are firm favourites to bag the three points but the fact that Etincelles are still fighting for relegation safety gives them a reason to upset the Blues. Elsewhere, Mukura VS travel to Ngoma Stadium where they will face Muhazi United in a game which could go either way.
