Rwandan golfers Aloys Nsabimana and Celestine Nsanzuwera are lobbying potential sponsors to invest in their talents so as to be able to participate in various golf competitions in Africa. The brothers are poised to raise the Rwandan flag at three continental golf tournaments due this year but they say they are facing serious financial constraints and are seeking help in order for them to embark on their trips. Our first tournament is in Kenya from April 18-21 and we are supposed to leave for Nairobi as soon as possible. Individuals and companies should come to our aid and sponsoring our trips, Nsabimana told Times Sport. The players are expected to be out of the country for about six months as they have tournaments to attend in DR Congo and Tanzania on their agenda. So far, their line-up include Asia Tour International Competition which will take place in Nairobi, Kenya, from July 14-18, the Tanzania Open in Dar es Salaam from July 16-20, and the Kinshasa Open in DR Congo from July 26-30. And, despite lack of sponsorship, Nsabimana remains positive that they can go out there and make the country proud. If we leave this April, we shall return in October. We will be out for six to seven months. Our training is going on well and I am pretty sure we can win laurels for our nation, the 25-year-old said. The duo is among the top young golfers playing at the Kigali Golf Club. They have previously been to various international tournaments. Nsabimana, for instance, took part in tournaments in several countries including Uganda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Nigeria.
