Dear Editor, I would like to request management of Commercial Bank of Rwanda (BCR) to increase the number of tellers that they have at each branch. Recently I lined up at the headquarters and got so frustrated and impatient. The lines were extremely long yet I had to pay my wife’s maternal fees urgently at Kigali Central Hospital. The bank boasts of an efficient queue management system but honestly, all it does is bring order within the bank but not increase speed at which customers are attended to. For such a bank whose growth rate is quite fast than that of others in the country, planning should definitely include increasing branches and employing more tellers. Our country is developing so fast and we do not need to pick a queue management slip, sit for 3 hours and then get some money. Please open more branches and let each have at least 8 active tellers because a growing bank should have a strategy of managing a growing customer base. Remera
