This goes out to fellow countrymen and women of Rwanda. I am disappointed by the consistent habit of careless spitting on our clean streets. It brings great shame to us especially among the visitors. I don’t know what exactly these new people feel about the habit but I personally find it disgusting and absurd for someone to open their mouths and spit in public even through a window of a moving vehicle. If these members of public have forgotten, let me remind them that spitting is a high module of environmental pollution and contamination. For the love of the country and the people that reside in it, for integrity and dignity of every one, let something be done. God knows what diseases it has so far caused. But let there be a by-law to curb the habit if possible. Kimironko
