APR FC captain Djabel Manishimwe says his side will have to give their best against Bugesera if they want to challenge for the title again. APR are chasing a record 21 titles in 28 years. “The team has improved greatly, and morale is high. The league is the right forum to prove to our critics what we are capable of doing,” Manishimwe said. “We want to erase the disappointment (of not reaching the Champions league) from our heads. That’s what everybody in the camp is targeting.” APR has won two games and they are eighth on the table, with six points. They have two games in hand against Bugesera and Police. Rayon Sports lead the table with 12 points, two ahead of Gasogi United and three ahead of Kiyovu, who dropped three points against Gasogi United.
