JP Bimeni, a Burundian singer also known as Mudibu, has been added to the lineup of Christopher’s second show of his Canada-tour slated to kick off on May 11. It is confirmed that the Burundian classic soul music star will join Christopher in Ottawa, during the second concert of his Canada tour slated to take place on May 18, following Montreal which opens the tour on May 11. Canada is the final stop of the artistes’ world tour that is in line with his comeback to the Rwandan music industry since parting ways with Kina Music, aimed at exporting his new sound to the rest of the world and promoting most of his recent projects. The tour, he said, might also reach other three cities of Canada if negotiations with event promoters go as planned. Canada follows Christophers successful shows in the UK, Europe, and US, which reached Brussels, Lyon, Portland Maine, and many other big cities of the world. The singer born Jean Patrick (JP) Bimeni is a recording artist, who just concluded a sold-out European tour. The year 2019 saw JP doing more than 70 shows all over Europe. His second album with the Black Belts Give Me Hope” was released in February 2022, on the label Lovemonk. In December 2021, he returned to Burundi for the first time in 10 years, where he headlined some of the biggest concerts of his life. He is known for songs like Agahengwe, Yarantumye, Garukikaho, and others.
