On July 4 1994, the Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF) brought an end the devastation caused by the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. The liberators were mostly very young people who were determined to make enormous sacrifices for the unity and the development of the nation. Sunday Magazine’s Sharon Kantengwa finds out people’s views on what lessons the youth can learn from Rwanda’s liberators? The Liberation Day in Rwanda is a day that gives Rwandans hope for a better future. It’s also the day that we honor our heroes who ended the killing of innocent people and the rebirth of our country. In all we do, our country should come first and they should inspire others, especially since we already know the history of our country.
