Around 6,000 couples in Eastern province tied the knot during the family month that was concluded in Kirehe, with 188 more saying 'until death do us part' vow this Tuesday.
Jean Claude Ngenzi (R), 33, a resident from Kagasa cell, said civil marriage for the couples brings values, respect and trust.
Mayor Gerald Muzungu was the one who conducted the ceremony
